Franco Accornero was painting as a child in his native Italy before moving to the United States in 1972.  He immediately enrolled in the Art Student's League in New York city where he studied and excelled in portraiture.  For more than 30 years, Franco has been painting covers of romance and other novels while simultaneously creating fine art that is sold in major galleries around the world.

This beautiful painting was executed in 1979 and graced the cover of the novel Lovequest by Louise Vaughan (Laura Simon), published by Jove Publication, Inc. in the same year.  It is bright, clean and in excellent condition.  A nice copy of the book is included in this auction.
