Jodie Boren, born in 1926, worked his whole adult life as an artist, including 20 years with Hallmark Cards.  His most popular images are those featuring scenes of the American Southwest.  His award-winning oils, watercolors, and drawings have appeared on the covers of The Cattleman, The Paint Horse Journal, and the Quarter Horse Journal. His paintings have been featured in Southwest Art Magazine and many have been reproduced as Christmas cards.  His nudes demonstrate his mastery of the human form and are much harder to find.

I suspect this beautiful (and large) painting was executed in the mid 1970s.  Informally titled, "Woman in Negligee," the translucence and detail of the material is truly amazing.  The painting is bright, clean and in excellent condition.
