Boris Vallejo's impact in the world of illustration and fine art can not be overstated.  From book covers and calendars to the walls of the most prestigious collections, Boris has been a force in the art world for the past 30 or so years.

 

This painting was first published in 1976 as the cover to Gordon R. Dickson's book, The Dragon and the George.  Subsequently published in a number of Boris' books, it is easily recognizable as one of his classics.  A wonderful rendering of a mystical scene as only Boris can execute.

 

This wonderful painting, over 30 years old, is in excellent condition with bright colors and wonderful detail.  A very nice copy of the first edition paperback is included with the sale of the painting.
